When you submit a quote request, we collect your name, phone number, email address (if given), postcode, and details about your business and property (business type, roof type, estimated monthly electricity bill, and any message you leave).
We use your details to contact you about your enquiry, and to pass your details to a vetted commercial solar installer so they can provide you with a quote. We may contact you by phone or email in the process of doing this. We do not sell your data for any purpose other than connecting you with a solar installer as part of this quote process.
Your details are shared with one solar installation company selected to provide your quote. That installer becomes independently responsible for your data once received, for the purposes of contacting you and preparing your quote.
We process your data on the basis of your consent, given when you submit the quote request form. You can withdraw this consent at any time by contacting us (see below).
We keep your details for as long as reasonably necessary to complete your quote enquiry and for a limited period afterwards for record-keeping, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
You have the right to ask us what personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, use our Contact page. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
