We collect the details you enter in our forms, including your name, phone number, email address, postcode, business and property information, electricity-spend range and your message. We also record the referring campaign, the website used, the date of your request and the version of the consent information shown to you. We may process technical information, including your IP address, to protect the service, prevent abuse and apply security or rate limits. This technical information is not added to your quote-enquiry record.
We use your information to respond to the commercial-solar quote request you made, assess your requirements and introduce you to one suitable solar installer. Our lawful basis is your consent. You can withdraw that consent at any time, although this does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
We share a quote enquiry with one selected commercial solar installation company so it can contact you and prepare a quotation. We record which company receives the enquiry. That company is independently responsible for its subsequent use of your information. We also use trusted hosting, database and email providers that process information only to operate this service and are subject to contractual safeguards.
We use Vercel for website hosting, Supabase for database services and our configured email provider for service notifications. These providers may process information in the UK, the EEA or other countries. Where UK data-protection law requires it, international transfers are protected by applicable adequacy regulations, contractual safeguards or another lawful transfer mechanism made available by the provider.
Quote-enquiry records are normally retained for up to 24 months so we can manage the enquiry, record outcomes and answer complaints. General contact messages are normally retained for up to 12 months. We may retain a minimal record for longer where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Information is deleted or anonymised when it is no longer required.
The site currently uses only technology needed to operate and secure the forms. If we introduce optional analytics or advertising tracking, we will update this notice and ask for consent before non-essential tracking is used.
